The brewery was set up at the end of 2004 in a beautiful farmhouse called “L’Olmaia” in Val D’Orcia, near Siena, Tuscany, initially as a small firm producing up to 300 litres per batch.
In 2009 it was relocated a few kilometers to the east in the area of Sant’Albino, near Montepulciano, where the products could be sold directly to the public. Throughout the year we produce 6 types of beer, plus some special seasonal beers, all of which are strictly unpasteurized, unfiltered and re-fermented, both in the keg and in the bottle. The production plant was built, according to our production needs, by the company Tefo of Parma, and it now has a production capacity of 2,500 litres per batch thanks to 4 cylindroconical fermentation tanks with a capacity of 2,500 litres and 2 with a capacity of 1,500 litres.
You can sample and purchase our beer in a small tap room inside the brewery.
We are open from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 1pm and from 2:30 to 6:30pm. We are closed on Saturday and on Italian public holidays.
